TestGood secret? Bad secret? Story 8

Your friend sits for hours at the computer and plays games, including ones that are prohibited for young persons. He doesn’t get enough sleep and is often tired and unconcentrated at school. He asks you not to snitch to his parents because they would take away the computer.

Good secret? Bad secret?

  • I understand that my friend doesn’t want to lose his computer so I wouldn’t snitch on him.
  • If my friend had fun playing I wouldn’t say anything, but if he has problems at school because of his gaming I would think about where he could get help.

Comments

You don’t have to go straightaway to your friend’s parents. Perhaps there are friends you can ask first. Or you could ask the class teacher at school. You could go with your friend to an advice centre and ask whether your concerns are justified or not.
